Withdrawals Made Simple

Once you register, you’ll notice that your wallet is empty. Putting money in is one thing, but knowing how to get it out and into your bank account is the real question, isn’t it?

Two withdrawal lanes

On YesPlay, if you want to take out your winnings, you have a couple of easy methods. You can do a normal withdrawal from your account directly into your bank account, or you can use the ATM option, which makes use of “Instant Money” using a voucher and a pin. All the info can be found on the Withdrawals FAQ page, along with info on what to do if you have not received your voucher or pin.

The ATM option

The ATM withdrawal method is built around “Instant Money” and is as easy as using a vending machine. Once you request an ATM withdrawal, you’ll receive a voucher/PIN. You’ll then use the voucher/PIN to withdraw your money. In the unlikely scenario where you don’t receive the voucher/PIN, YesPlay has prepared an FAQ with detailed instructions on what steps you need to take next.

Keep it SA

Here’s what you need to know about YesPlay, with no beating around the bush: According to YesPlay’s Terms and Conditions, you have to register with your South African ID and you won’t be able to withdraw to any foreign bank accounts due to our exchange control restrictions. The only banks that YesPlay supports are ABSA, FNB, Standard Bank, and Nedbank. It’s also worth making sure that you’re using your own bank account with the correct details for deposits and withdrawals because any errors or if your names don’t match up may cause reversals (and additional fees).

Docs to have

If you want to make your withdrawals feel like clockwork, have your paperwork ready ahead of time. According to YesPlay’s Terms and Conditions, they may ask for: your South African ID or passport, proof of address, and proof of your bank account.

This can be done from the YesPlay mobile app, so you don’t have to wait until you get home to your computer. Also, keep in mind that YesPlay bonuses can boost your account balance, but withdrawals still have to follow the same rules.
